This highly focused event, organised by the very talented team at Forum Events, brings together both meeting and event professionals and product and service providers within the events sector. Running across two days, the programme is a mix of interactive seminars, one-to-one business meetings and valuable networking opportunities.
As a passionate advocate of creating valuable and meaningful content from live events, during my seminar I shall be delving into how event content can have a positive impact on your business growth and should not be an afterthought when developing your event strategy!
We all know that events, of any format, are a gold mine of content and is still one of the main reasons delegates attend. The live experience provides delegates with the opportunity to hear exclusive presentations, gain new insights, and hear from leading experts. Creating successful event content though doesn’t just tell the story of what happened at the event, but it starts to build on the story, gaining reaction and commentary on a topic, product, service, even opinions and perspectives with a wider audience.
Packaged well and activated across multiple marketing channels, its this content that will engage your wider community, open up the opportunity for people to participate in discussion and collaborate.
By pushing the content generated at an event out to your community, your sector and potentially a new audience, you can really improve brand awareness, extend the lifecycle of your events and create long-tail revenue and opportunities for the future.
My session, in short, will explore how to design your event content strategy to meet business objectives. It will look at how to go about creating an effective content plan to capture pre, live event and post event content. It will consider how to seek and support contributors and managing the content production pipeline. Furthermore I will explore how-to and when to distribute event content and encourage engagement.
If your planning to attend then I look forward to seeing you there. If you can’t attend but would like to get in touch to have a chat about any aspect of ‘event content’ then please don’t hesitate to contact me!
